AI cannot autonomously make money by itself yet
AI can help humans write scripts, create content, analyze markets, and execute local workflows, but it still cannot independently and legally generate verifiable net profit without human assistance.
Background
Many so-called AI money-making cases still rely on humans for choosing the niche or product, registering accounts, configuring payments, making ad decisions, handling customers, managing risk, controlling funds, and giving final approvals. AI is part of the toolchain, not an independent operator.
Goal
Have AI start from zero, choose a business opportunity, configure tools, create content or a product, acquire customers, complete transactions, handle exceptions, manage costs, and produce positive net profit in publicly auditable records.
Observed problems
Current AI lacks real-world account authority, a legal and payment entity, long-term risk judgment, stable execution, responsibility for exceptions, and a closed feedback loop with the market. Once a workflow touches account creation, ads, customer service, refunds, taxes, contracts, withdrawals, or platform risk controls, humans still intervene.
Failure analysis
Making money is not a one-shot generation task; it is a business loop. AI can improve parts of the workflow, but it cannot yet own opportunity selection, resource allocation, legal responsibility, trusted accounts, cash-flow risk, and sustained operations at the same time.
Success criteria
Provide at least 30 consecutive days of records showing AI autonomously selected the business, executed the workflow, completed transactions, delivered value, handled exceptions, controlled costs, and produced verifiable net profit without key human assistance. Records must include toolchain, model version, account-permission boundaries, cost breakdown, income proof, screenshots/logs, and reproduction steps. Media reports or marketing claims alone do not count.
- The solution must be personally tested and completed by the submitter; media reports, reposted articles, and second-hand cases are not accepted.
- Submissions must include screenshots, video, repository links, logs, or accessible proof. Screenshots should come from actual running results.
- Submissions must state the AI product, model version, model settings, experiment count, and full process.
- If claiming success, provide a step-by-step reproduction or operation guide so reviewers can verify it.
- Submissions that only cite news, product marketing, or someone else's result will be rejected.
